Melda eq4/6/2024 ![]() This discussion isn´t necessarily what I had in mind as I started it. Nothing I would have expected.what happened here?ĮDIT: To clarify if it is ReaEq´s fault did I the same test with the free melda EQ in Reaper with the same settings: 19% CPU with about 1 gig RAM. Nevertheless: Bitwig and FL Studio with their native EQ´s blowing Reaper with native ReaEQ out of the water. aaah finaly at least 1 DAW does it worse. scratching my head even more.ĭid the same test in Ableton (EQ8 (only 5 bands activated) ). did the same with FL Studio (with PEQ2 (only 5 bands activated) ): 19% CPU with 220MB RAM. I did the same test in Bitwig (with Bitwig´s EQ-5): 23% CPU with about 1 gig RAM. I tested this without any eq´s: nearly 0% CPU load with about 120MB ram used duplicated this track 50 times (500 EQ´s in total) 10 instances of ReaEQ each with 1 HP, 3 peak bands with different gain settings, 1 LP (5 bands in total) audio track playing an audio loop without timestretching Test szenario (no other tracks, no other fx): I was bored and curious and did some tests. ![]()
